About Me

I have been teaching piano full time for 12 years. I have close to sixty students ages 18 months to adult. I integrate games and activities into lessons to keep students engaged. I also offer recitals, group lessons, camps, competitions and contests for students most of which are free and detailed in my monthly studio newsletter. My Musical Education Background

I attended Geneseo for piano performance. I receive ongoing training in Suzuki and traditional methods. I attend over two weeks of training per year!

Genres and Subjects Taught

I teach Suzuki piano with sight reading, music theory and composition. Even pre-school students study composition and theory with fun and engaging music games.

Lesson Rates

After the first free lesson, lessons are $80 per month for the first child and $70 per month for any siblings. I use a term system to make payment easier. I also offer discounted lessons for young children, including a $200 four month class for students ages 1-3.

Ages / Skill Levels Taught

I offer lessons for students of all levels ages 18 months and older. For 1-3 year olds, I offer a special music/piano class that introduces toddlers to music through stories, games and activities. For older students, I offer lessons that include many fun activities that engage even reluctant learners. Lessons often have fun themes such as composition, music history and parts of the piano so that students are learning more than they even realize!
