About Me
Hello! I live in Raymond, Iowa and in addition to teaching music lessons, I am also a pianist/organist and soloist for church services as well as weddings and funerals. I sing in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Metropolitan Chorale and Agnus Dei choral group. When not making music, I love to garden, cook, travel, and ride my bike. Come and have fun learning to sing or play the piano!

My Musical Influences
My grandparents on each side of my family played accordian and had pianos and organs that I was constantly playing around on while growing up. I really have to thank my organ teacher, Ms. Donna Stambough, and high school music director, Mr. Brian Hughes, for their guidance and inspiration during my teenage years. Brian steered me into a music pathway at UNI instead of my original plan of becoming an accountant. Music is much more inspiring than accounting would have been! The Voice Care Network at St. John's University in Minnesota, was incredibly inspiring in the development of my vocal skills as both a performer and teacher in addition to the top-notch musical training I received at the University of Northern Iowa from vocal, choral and piano professors.
