About Me
"MUSIC BY JENNIFER" custom piano/voice lessons - Hello my name is Jennifer Gunn a local traveling teacher teaching in the comfort of your own home! I have recently resumed in-home lessons safely in the home of my students during this time of Covid concern and practice safety concerns when needed. My teaching experience of 38+ years has taken me throughout the country but particularly in this great state of Arizona since 1987!
My teaching style is always easy, possitive, fun, informative and stasfying. My goal is always in enhancing the personal growth of each student through the joy of music!
My Musical Education Background
My musical background originated in California at 7 years old as a stage performer with a mother as a former New York Rockette dancer. Musical Theater is my background as well as piano performance. I have studied under the best California had to offer privately, and in Universities. I also have experience in producing and directing musical programs, Choir directing, and Stage directing, as well as Talent promoter.
Genres and Subjects Taught
I have taught adult and family Voice classes in Dysart school district as well as Gilbert Public Schools. I teach a variety of genres through my private piano and voice lessons such as Pop, classical, jazz, and more.
Lesson Rates
Although my normal rate is $25 a lesson in the Metro Phoenix area, I am very flexible and my rates are made affordable for my neighbors in the white mountains when needed.
Ages / Skill Levels Taught
I teach all ages of Piano, Voice, and Performance at every level including beginner, intermediante, and advanced students.
My Certifications and Awards
I have been a certified teacher with Arizona Music Teachers association.
My Musical Influences
I have had a variety of musical influences in my life that has shaped me into my musical styles of teaching which range from, Broadway, Classical, Pop, Jazz and other Gentres of music.
