About Me
Are we the right music school for you?
Since our founding in 2006 numerous students from Marshfield and surrounding areas like Auburndale, Pittsville, Greenwood, Loyal, Stanley and Stratford have relied on the School of Performing Arts for high quality music lessons.
3 benefits of becoming a student:
1. Piano, Guitar, Bass, Voice, Violin, Viola, Cello and Children's Choir all in one location.
This saves our students time and money, as one family can take multiple instruments on the same day. Other studios offer multiple instruments, but we are the only one to offer all 5 of the most popular instruments: Electric & Acoustic Guitar, Electric Bass, Voice, Piano and Violin in addition to Preschool Music Classes.
2. Our exceptional teaching faculty.
All of our teachers have either university training or extensive professional performance experience, and in some cases both. Our music teachers are dedicated to learning about your personal musical goals and helping you to achieve them. We are confident we have the right teacher to meet your needs. In addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely friendly and dedicated to teaching you the style of music you want to learn.
3. A proven track record of excellence.
Our primary mission is to offer the highest possible quality of music education in the city of Marshfield. Visit the testimonials page of our website to hear what our students and families are saying about us.
My Musical Education Background
Marshfield's most comprehensive school of music!
WHAT DO YOU LEARN IN YOUR MUSIC LESSONS?
That question is often asked by prospective students. Our teachers make it a priority to get to know you on a personal level and to become familiar with your personal musical needs and goals.
We do not treat every student the same in terms of what and how we teach.
A seven year old having their first guitar lesson will have very different needs than a fifty seven year old taking up piano for the 2nd time after having had lessons as a child.
The main reason to choose the School of Performing Arts as your music lesson provider, is that we are sensitive to the fact that every student is an individual.
Genres and Subjects Taught

Marshfield, WI
love the happiness and confidence the lessons have given our son, Eden. His teacher is great. He is VERY patient and has gotten us through many hard spots in lessons. I feel like he is a friend that has shared Eden's growth with our family. Of course he is part of that growth.

Our teacher is very fair and honest and progresses at a good pace - not too much too soon, which we appreciate. Regarding the school and staff, I like the communication ability with the office. I like all the activities available for students (Bring A Friend Week, Student Appreciation Day, etc). The location is good and the lesson times have worked well with our (busy!) schedule.

Our teacher is great and the recitals are very impressive but low-pressure. We appreciate the opportunity to take high-quality music lessons in the Marshfield Area.
