About Me
I have been teaching piano since 1997. I am a member of the National Guild of Piano Teacher's Association and the Music Teachers National Association. My students can participate in their yearly examinations and competitions. I composed and performed in many musical theater. I joined Linkedin and I am endorsed by many Music professionals where you can see my profile. Because of my background in Education, I am able to teach efficiently and get excellent results. Several of my students continued on to Berklee and other music schools.
My Musical Education Background
I studied Education and Music at the Montreal University where I received a Bachelor's degree in both . I thought at the Cunningham Elementary school for the Milton Public Schools from 1992 to 1997. I entered many competitions and placed first in many of them. I performed my compositions in several shows and Musical Theater.
Genres and Subjects Taught
I offer an exciting and rewarding piano learning experience. The goal of my studio is to create a fun musical environment at each lesson so the everyone's individual potential can become realized. I offer to teach a broad range of music genres depending on the interest of the students. Among other things, I offer sight reading skills, concepts of theory and proper technique. I hold a yearly Spring Recital. I take my students to local Nursing homes and they especially like the Christmas event.
Lesson Rates
The course of instruction is based on a 10-month year. There are 36 weeks of lessons.
Tuition is a fixed monthly rate payable during the first week of the month.
Payment in Full for a each semester : (Sept. Oct. Nov. and Dec.) and (Jan. Feb. March, April,May, June) is also available as well as Quaterly payment if one choose to do so.
The following is the payment schedule:
Reserved lesson time:
One 30-minute private lesson per month: $90.00
One 45-mitute private lesson per month: $135.00
One 60-minute private lesson per month: $175.00
A non-refundable deposit of $35.00 individual of $50.00 family is due at the time of the registration. This deposit is applied towards books, music sheets and material fees needed for the students during the year.
Ages / Skill Levels Taught
I teach all levels of music. I accepts young children(age 5) to adults.
