About Me
Welcome to Wolf Piano Studio! My name is Chris and I'd be happy to talk with you more about the exciting opportunities available in piano study.
Some students here are very interested in a traditional classical piano performance education. I have a few students who are budding composers, and many who are excited to play for their whole life, to accompany themselves or others, and don't really know where their music will take them. Working toward each individual students' music goals is a key element of my teaching philosophy.
I am very interested in talking to you about what you're looking for in a music lesson. I have a website for more information at (contact me), and I would really appreciate speaking to you in person or by phone for more information.
Music is a wonderful journey to give or receive.
Peace, Chris Wolf

I love to share my music as worship director/keyboard/vocals at my mission church.
Genres and Subjects Taught
Piano, theory, technique and composition are a main focus. There is an emphasis in classical training, but we also discover and delve into the many other genres of music in our world, from the past through today.
Lesson Rates
Can we chat about what you're looking for first? Let's see whether we're a good match of goals and personality. The range of pricing is around $97/month for 30 minute lessons, based on a beginner who is curious and interested. Is that you?
Ages / Skill Levels Taught
I think music is for all ages, and teach a wide range of students. Right now I have 2 precious Kindergartners, elementary through high school students, 1 senior who is contemplating a music major, and 2 adults. One of these adults is a 75 year old retired engineer, who is visually impaired! We are learning so much together.

Performances at "Live from Landmark", MPR, Northrop Auditorium and collaborations with Miss Americas and Don Knotts, many fine musicians
I would like to downplay my awards, and focus on the many fine accomplishments of my students. Several of my students over the years have gone on to careers in music, or shared in civic orchestras, chorales or been avid concert goers. We have had public performances that were stellar and acclaimed, and private concerts of rare beauty that touched hearts.
My JOY is sharing amazing music with them.
My Musical Influences
I am learning and listening every day, to a wide variety of music, musicians, and ideas.
I still practice every day. How can I ask you to carve out time, unless I set a good example myself?
