About Me
With over 30 years of violin teaching experience, Dr Willwerth holds a Doctorate in Violin from Rutgers University and is a frequent violin substitute in both the first and second violin sections of The Philadelphia Orchestra (over 20 yrs). In addition to performing during their regular concert season at the Kimmel Center, her performances with the orchestra have included multiple tours to Asia, Europe, and North, Central and South America, summer concerts in Vail, CO and Saratoga, NY, as well as numerous orchestral recordings with multiple major conductors.
As a violin teacher, she has worked with students from the very beginning levels to the very advanced/professional, including young children through older adults.

$80/hr; $60/45 minutes
Ages / Skill Levels Taught
Child through adult; All are Welcome!
Beginning through very advanced/professional. Current studio has students of all ages/levels! Whether you are an adult who has always dreamed of playing violin, or your child is embarking on a new violin journey, preparing for competitions, or college music school auditions, all are welcome! Ability to read music preferred, but considered on a case by case basis.
