My piano studies began at age 5 when I started taking lessons from
a wonderful teacher. She provided me with a solid musical
foundation and introduced me to classical music early on. In
addition, I was allowed to play popular music and other styles of
music for fun, giving me well-rounded exposure to music. I
continued with other teachers, pursuing additional classical
